Services

Temple David offers a range of regular services each week. These include Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday nights at 6.30pm and Shabbat Shaharit and Torah service on Saturday mornings from 10.30am - 12.15pm.

In addition, Jewish Festivals are honoured and celebrated with a combination of services and events. The upcoming events can be found on the calendar to the right of this information.

We welcome visitors to our regular and Festival services.  Due to an ever increasing security risk currently experienced by synagogues all over the world, we request that you inform the Temple office beforehand if you wish to attend any service and that you bring ID with you.

Currently we use the American Reform Siddur (prayer book) Gates of Prayer and our different lay readers bring their own service styles to enhance Shabbat and Festival worship. Spare Tallit and Kippot are always availble for guests from other Congregations.

We hold regular pot luck Onegim (Community Meals) after the evening service on Shabbat offering all a chance to socialize and meet other congregants and join in with Israeli Dancing after the meal.
