Music at Temple David

Do you like to sing?  Our congregation enjoys unaccompanied song as a regular part of our services.


In addition, we offer the opportunity to join our two small choirs.

"The Choir" sings at the High Holy Days and other significant occasions such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.  It is often accompanied by an organ. New members are very welcome, but need to be able to read music well. 
This choir is run by Ken and Judith Arkwright.

"Kol Hakavod" is a recently formed contemporary choir which welcomes anyone who wishes to have fun and connect to Judaism through song. They are also keen to hear from anyone who might accompany them on piano or guitar. Kol Hakavod rehearse a couple of times a month, on Saturdays from 9.00-10.15am in the Social Hall. Rehearsal dates are published in e-news.
