Rabbi Morgan visiting Temple David 14-16 November

We are delighted that Rabbi Fred Morgan will be joining us for a full weekend of activities from 14^th–16^th November.
Friday 14^th November:  Family Service and Oneg
6.30pm Kabbalat Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Morgan
Join Rabbi Morgan after the service for a bring-a-dish oneg in the Social Hall and personally welcome him back to Temple David.
Saturday 15^th November
9:00am  Shabbat Tots in Social Hall with Jono and Zoe Williamson.  Tots please bring along your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles for a fun experience.
10.30am Shabbat morning service led by Rabbi Morgan
12:30 pm Discussion group over lunch – please bring a plate to share.  “The new prayer book from Australian eyes” and “Recent decisions of the Moetzah”
6.30pm  Havdalah
Farewell Shabbat and welcome the new week with Havdalah followed by a presentation by Rabbi Morgan “Shalom India”.  This is a multimedia presentation highlighting the Morgans’ recent visit to India.
Please bring a plate to share for a Havdalah seudah (light meal).

7.30 – 9pm Discussion forum – “The Torah; it’s rituals and it’s meaning for Progressive Jews today”
